Sunblock

Hey everyone,

My clients have all been coming in complaining about breakouts. Unfortunately this time of year it isn't uncommon, why; because hopefully everyone is using sunblock not sunscreen sunblock. There is a difference. As I tell my clients, if you have your front door open but yet the screen door is closed, that's a sunscreen its a filter but not enough, when the front door is closed and no light can come in now that is a sunblock, nothing coming through nothing will penetrate the skin. All free radicals will not penetrate and all sun will be reflected from the skin. Now unfortunately most sunblocks contain a product called dimethecone, and that will tend to break you out. The only product I know that doesn't have dimethecone in the ingredients is Skin Medica Sun Shade 50+. Just had a client come back from Costa Rica, was there for a week, and she said that sunblock really works, nothing penetrated my skin. The best part of the story is, she had no breakouts. Remember the products you see on TV that advertise all the time, are not the products you want to purchase. Why, they put all their money into advertising and not their ingredients.
